Untitled

She feels herself falling to pieces
as he says those five simple words,
"We can still be friends."
As he walks away tears form in her eyes.
She turns to her best friend and starts to cry.
She asks herself,
Why did he do this?
What did I do?
She loved him so.
Later that night,
she sat alone in her room,
and cryed.
For the pain he had caused her,
was no longer on the inside.
It had begun on the outside,
starting small,
until it became overwhelming.
Over the days
it would seep through
her long shelve shirts
For there was
no other way to hid it.
