Leave the Past

by Brandon Lee   Sep 23, 2007

I am being pushed in to a state that should be insanity but isn’t
Pushed by the skeletons of my past invading that of the present.
My reality is being conformed and twisted by her lies.
I howl silently in to the night as my heart feels like its being cut by a dull and rusted knife.
I can only evade the past for so long.
Day by day I force myself to move on.
How can I move forward when I am always looking back.
For me there is no future, until I can learn to leave my past.
