We Can All Make It

by DeeEmm   Sep 25, 2007

We make mistakes
And right after we make 'em
We feel this sense of
Humiliation
It brings to us
A sense of frustration
Which makes it harder
To see our fears and face 'em
So we hide
From the dreams
That we're chasing
Let's just face it
You can't learn from seeing those tears;
You've got to taste 'em
And if you don't
It's just another moment wasted
But we grow
And those previous skeletons;
We will shake 'em
Until we get some other chances
And we take 'em
Humiliation has now passed
It fuels our motivation
And that brings us our inspiration
Which in turn gives us a sense of elation
What was once out of sight
Has suddenly become our current destination
No longer waiting
To pull into the station
Here we are
Amongst the stars
We finally made it.
