Monday's Charm

by Ashleigh Skye   Sep 25, 2007

Monday's charm is invisible to me,
oh, how I wish that I could see,
embrace Monday for all it's beauty,
but I can't so it gets me down.

I've been told that it's charm can light up the sky,
that the feeling it brings can make grown men cry,
it's as welcome as a warm apple pie,
but I don't see it and it brings me down.

I've been told it's like a ray of light,
shinning strong all through the night,
freeing just like a high soaring kite,
but to me it brings a frown.

Monday's charm oh how I long for you,
to make me smile instead of feeling blue,
show me the beauty that only you can do,
and turn this constant frown.
