Deeper And Deeper

The laughters gone, no more smiles
The light has left her world.
Nothing feels real, like time has stopped
Now tears run down her cheeks
And theres only pain in her heart.

She sits alone in a pool of blood
The scars on her heart, the scars on her arms
The blade beside her.

She prays for the strength to go deeper and deeper
To go to a world without pain, without war, without hate
But with love and peace and understanding.

As the darkness suffocates her she hopes shes dying,
But no peace comes, no love, no angels to heal her soul
Only dreams of a life once lived

Woken again from a slumber better than life
Alone again in a room full of memories
Wearing again a mask for the world to see
Again and again
Until she has the strength to go deeper and deeper.

    A good dark write, I hate to end them in the same manner though, but I guess that's because I have seen the light on self harm and much of what ailed me in life. It is good to get out the angst and the pain behind what drives us to that place, but it is even better to turn it around. I am rambling though lol All in all I thought it was a good write, I understand the emotion behind it and think you conveyed it well. Nice work.
