Unknown to Humans

by Reubin   May 3, 2004

On the eve of disaster the sign of the beast appears/
The devil has taken everything from us, leaving only tears/
The coming of the second holocaust, everything is now lost/
bodies of my seeds, simply discarded and tossed/
into a river of sin, now face a reality harder to swallow then straight shots of gin/
The Lord cometh and the Lord taketh away, only fools stray from the gift that he should bring/
You choose to worship the desires of the flesh/
now slumber with Satan as you take your eternal rest/
Striving to be our best, we still fail this test/
Now we face a hint of destruction, through this world's seduction/
Mind, body, and soul being ripped apart my every malfunction/
The government is plagued by politicians bent on continuing the devil's tradition/
It's sickening, their discrimination and efforts to wipe out whole populations/
"A nation for which justice stands..."/
But if it's just us, how much more can we stand/
My thoughts being steadily overran, the coming of the seed of Satan/
No longer do I have a true conception of being human/
But I have a true plan to release the devil's grasp/
Like going through a mental relapse, an now realize the detrimental task/
To follow the First and the Last, the Creator of the big blast/
whatever you wanna call it, there's no denying that he's my Lord/
The one who will come and judge this world, with an open mouth and a sword/
He is the Way, the Truth, and the Life/
He created the first day and shed some light/
Who am I to know what's wrong and what's right/
If I don't follow him, all I see is suffering and strife/
He gives me strength, without him I am weak/
Through the pain and torture, I remain humble and meek/
Seek and you shall surely find the tie that's brings humankind together in a bind/
To become close with the father, I choose to leave earthy pleasure behind/
No need to look back and rewind, for Christ has blessed my mind/
Re-focused my thoughts now I see fine/
Need I remind, no longer am I blind/
Blessed by the almighty, I realize what we all might be, if we could see beyond the petty and tiny/
The devil no longer has foothold in my spirit/
When I speak the father's name, demons tremble to hear it/
Now that I understand, I no longer fall under but I continue to stand/
I witness his true plan, that this entire world is worth less than a grain of sand/
Because substance disappears but the spirit last forever sown in the immortal lands/
That is what I call The Reality Unknown To Humans/

I almost decided not to read this poem because I saw how long it was but I'm glad I did! Keep it up. I like the fact that your poem is telling the sraight up truth! And I like the way you have it formatted. Great job! I gave you a five!
