Broken Angel Part 16

We sat there in silence watching the sunrise. The moment seemed to last an eternity. I glanced over and saw she had fallen asleep. I closed my eyes and took in the warmth of the rising sun. This was a new day. I carefully picked her up and carried her to my car. She only stirred slightly as we drove back to my place. Carrying her inside I layed her in my bed and covered her with a blanket. I slowly walked out of the room and turned to close the door. I stared at her sleeping face. She looked so peacefull. I shut the door and walked into the living room and sat on the couch. I had no idea what I was doing anymore. All I knew was I wanted her to never feel alone ever again.
