Silence

by Tina   May 4, 2004

Their silence is my pain,
They know that they can always gain.
They yell at me and call me names, you stay quiet you aren't the same.
I thought that we were friends; I thought that you were true, I guess you have better things to do.
I can't speak my words wont come out, you don't show emotions you don't even pout.
The silence is piercing my ears,
I stand shaking in fear.
He approaches me with an evil grin,
Now I know that I can't win.
Its not just verbal abuse now,
"GO ON!" he screams to the king I must bow.
He is the king of sickening thoughts the king of disgust,
The king of being mean, the king no one can trust.
He pushes me and threatens me and takes me behind a tree,
Please why can't you just leave me!
My friends run away the silence is there the only thing that's said is have no fear,
For the king is here.
He takes me inside his house as I start to shake, why wont from this dream I awake?
He throws me on his bed and takes off my shirt, "don't worry my child, this wont hurt"
The pain is excruciating the tears are in my eyes, I can't catch my breath I can't even sigh.
It seems to take forever like this bad thing will never end, if only my friends would've made the silence end.
