The Butterfly & The Boy

The butterfly had decided that today would be the day that she would lay down and die.
So her last wish was >>him<<
The boy with the big brown eyes,
The one with the heart touching smile that always seemed to bring a smile to anyones face...
Her heart was simply set on him.
She thought to herself how can i make him notice a butterfly without the most prettiest of colours?
A butterfly with a broken wing?
She fixed her wings as much as she could just for him,
though little did he notice her when she flew past him,
he just continued talking to his friends.
The butterfly was tired, (i mean how high can you fly with broke wings?)
The sun was going down and all she wanted was for him to notice her, or was that too much to ask from a little butterfly?
So that evening she followed the boy to the park,
though she couldn't fly at a very fast pace she still made it to the park.
She perched herself on a rose,
she watched him silently, for all she wanted now was just to see him smile for the last time.
The boy was intrigued playing a game with his friends, but then suddenly he turned to the roses and smiled.
The butterfly saw him smile,
she smiled back a faint smile then died peacefully thinking that he had fulfilled her last wish.
If she had stuck around a little longer, she would of found out that he smiled at the roses but then the little butterfly would of died heart broken.
The boy walked over to the roses and picked the rose which the butterfly had died on,
He smiled at the rose once again, Then he realised that the butterfly on the rose was the same butterfly that flew by him before...
He smiled at the butterfly one last time as he shed a silent tear...
