Fell for a Friend

I look forward to being with you on the weekends
until really late at night
i don't know what the heck I would do
if we ever got in a fight
your one of the best people to talk to
when I am having a terrible day
I know you can make me feel better
somehow you always know what to say
I cant remember how I found
my way before you came around
but one day I realized something new
I felt something more than a friend within you
I don't know how you do it
its something no words can say
but you make me like you more and more
with every passing day
its not the way you hold me
or listen when i talk
its not the way you look at me
or kiss the way you do
its not because of all you do for me
i like you because your you
I know your very different
and for me you are the best
not just because you are yourself
but because your not like the rest
