Epiphany

Once again moping about my sorrows
Stuck in the past and not living for today or tomorrow

Letting my depression overtake me
No time spent thinking on all of the good things I have achieved

Something amazing just flooded my mind
I only see the bad and to the good I am simply blind

Lots of people's lives are more depressing
I just need to see the good in life and all it's blessings

Blessings such as a job and family
And although I don't have that feeling of love right here with me

I need to appreciate what I have
Thinking of the time wasted feeling sad, I can only laugh

    I can relate to this piece. Great poem, very deep with some meaningful thoughts behind it. I like the way you wrote it, you put a lot of emotions into it. The ending line is great, it rounds up whole poem and it is very effective like the ending of this piece.
    All in all, greatly written.
