Drowning

by Toni   May 4, 2004

When the sight of your face catches
My eyes
And water begins to thaw
And my entire world is blurry
I drown

When each day I sit and question
Why, why
And my head begins to spin
And I'm getting nowhere
I drown

When the pain strikes me harder
Cutting deeper
And I can feel the rush of warmth
And I'm melting my ice
I drown

When I'm lying there alone
All alone
And it gets hard to breathe
And the walls close in
I drown

When I lose sight of hope
Every thread
And your voice haunts me
And I'm sat trembling
I drown

When I feel myself numbed
From everything
And darkness envelops me
And I cant see
I drown

When each day is the same
All alone
And I cant stand it any longer
And I cant live
And I cant breathe
And I cant be me
And I cant love
Im dead
