Still, It hurts

Months have passed
Almost a year
Since the day we said goodbye
Still, it hurts

I never imagined the pain I would feel
I never imagined that the pain would last too long
I try my best to move on in life
Still, it hurts

The new friends I've made
Are all too wonderful
But they are nothing compared to you
Still, it hurts

I've had my laughs
My joyful moments
With someone else but
Still, it hurts

Over the next few years
I hope that we could find our way through this
Because if we don't
Forever, it will hurt

    Wow, another great write. You convey so much emotion! Its just phenomenal! I love your style of writing, and again this one flowed as well as the rest. I also like how you continue to repeat "It still hurts" it makes your message stronger!
