The Dead Roses

by Kenny   Oct 1, 2007

*Please be kind enough in finishing the poem if you do have started*

Every month I give you roses
Hugs and sweet kisses
I knock at your door
For you to see it down the floor

We spent every time together
Knowing it would last forever
Whispering the 3 words of love
The most precious I have

Till another month had come
I bought another, and surprised you some
A dead rose I laid it next to your door
I expect you'd wanted no more

You called me one night
You were mad at me wanted a fight
I can't think of any reason
I prepared for it throughout the season

Because of what I gave, you were humiliating me
Now my love you regret and don't even see
How can this be?
I love you, and that will always be

I decided to go far away from you
So you would again see the sky so blue
I hope you would see the reason behind
Wishing you would even find

It's my mistake, I know
I left the letter of love paired with the rose, to show
That the dead rose I gave is like a life compared
To my life without your love to be shared

*please comment and vote, i'll do the same to yours*
