A Walk of Death

by BeautifulGirl   Oct 1, 2007

Walking forward with tears in your eyes,
I saw you talking to your young daughter Lies.
You were taken away. But no one knows where,
All that they know is that they weren't being fair.
Nazis are known best for being cruel.
No one in their presence wants to be a fool.
For their lives would end with a really loud noise,
Women or men or even young little boys
They would stand there and watch as stiff as a board
As one more of them raised up to the Lord.
Several times a day people drop dead
From not being strong not properly fed.
As you take a walk, a walk of death
You stop and take what could be your very last breath.
With the rope round your neck, the rope pulling tight,
You try to struggle out but you can't put up a fight.
As the world is swirling in, moving in around you,
You wonder of this injustice of killing every Jew.
This moment seems so very long
But the seconds do pass and now she's gone.
The short time after goes by very fast.
They take away her body and now she's the past.
The last thing you hear are the screaming and the cries.
You see your final image of young now motherless Lies.
