I Realize...

I'm lost without you.
All the things we never got to do.
All the things you never got to see.
It makes me wonder what we could be.
If you were still here.
I would do anything to feel your touch.
To me you meant so much.
Can you hear my cry?
Why did you leave, why did you die?
You were all I ever had. You were the one I could trust.
What did God need from you?
He took the one I love.
Can you read this from above?
Do you know how I feel?
The words coming from my heart are real.
I never took my chance to share.
And now you're not there.
I realize now if you love someone let your feelings show.
It's too late to tell you how much I care.
Because no matter what you won't be there.

    I'm terribly sorry for your loss. This poem made me cry, because I use to have a best guy friend, but we never told each other, how we felt. Now its to late. I can relate to this so much. Even if people can't relate they can feel the emotion. Please keep writing.
