Yourself

To find yourself
you must look deep,
deeper than ever before.
What will you find there?
A monster?
A friend?
Look deeply, past thoughts and feelings.
Look to your core.
What will you find there?
Once you've looked you need to understand
that who you are cannot be changed, only cloaked.
Look for love, look for lust.
Look for whatever you must.
But always know you are you no one else.
