A temple of lies

While I descend in quiet miseries,
the night confined me in solitary guilt.
Deception escaping my rotting lips,
hurting and confusing the ones I need.

I silently dwell on the other side,
quoting prayers of a perpetual liar.
Suffocating from unspoken verity,
slowly drowning in a sea of fire.

Desolation in my hypocrisy,
enlightening shame upon a careless face.
Going against my mental oddity,
I'm not taking the blame for my mistakes.

I worship the deity of perjurer,
tempted by grievous truth and somber eyes.
From a nomadic to a believer,
I am trammeled in a temple of lies.

    it has lots of compasion of your bleeding soul that can't be herd by the comforming world that is suposidly the artificial heaven that more people hate then love

    I'm honestly impressed! This piece has greatly created, dark atmosphere along with excellent, unique descriptions. Very effective poem.
    This stanza is my favorite one:

    -I silently dwell on the other side,

    ^
    It is deep and it has fantastic imagery.
    I like the ending a lot, too. It rounds up whole poem greatly and it is very effective.

    This poem totally impress me, it looks like you put your self in it and I appreciate that. When I read it first time only thing that I could say was WOW!!! Truly breathtaking piece, it is filed with so many emotions, it is also so honest and personal, really deep. I like everything about it, you expressed your self and you feelings incredibly.
