A Broken Angel

by Bryan   Oct 2, 2007

A broken angel, heart incomplete
On her knees she cries black tears,
Scattered and torn, full of deceit,
Stuck here to face all of her fears.

Deception and lies, blissful abyss,
Immortal pain, desolate tragedy,
All she ever wanted was a kiss,
To finally be in happy tranquility.

Fairy-tales aren't meant to be true,
And happiness is just a dream,
This pain is too hard to subdue,
Time stands still for her it seems.

The clouds part, a sunny day,
Her heart no longer feels deceit,
Looks in her eyes, nothing to say,
A broken angel now complete.

Recovering from writers block, thought I would write like I used to.
