All major decisions
Destined from your head
Promises
Lies
They all dance from the same tongue
The one reaching down my throat
I'm not used to being so easily abused

The angels moving your hair around
The ecstasy that is your being
You get me high
With the whim of a touch

I savior
Every moment with every breathe
I piece together the puzzles that is us
But I know, it's all pointless
Once you say goodnight
You'll really mean goodbye
Death taste in your mouth
Are you satisfied?

Why must I hold onto the dwindling chaos?
That is our mess
This fire runs through my veins
A burning that feels all to real

And there you are... match in hand

    I really enjoyed your poem it was beautiful
    this was my favourite line
    "Once you say goodnight
    You'll really mean goodbye"

    it reminded me of broken promises
