The Rainbow

by LenaLee   Oct 7, 2007

It began with an overcast,
And the howling wind,
Whoosh, whoosh,
Then it started thumping,
Thump, Thump,
And soon the rain began,
The rain soon grew harder,
And it started to growl,
After it go silent,
Like a kitty on the prowl,
The the rain,
Just happily stomped off,
And let the sun take over,
The sun sighed,
And shouted for the rainbow,
Ten minutes later,
The rainbow did arrive,
With the mutter of the rainbow,
The sun was glad,
And at last,
The rainbow was here.
