Broken friendship

Since childhood, how well we knew each other
Spending long days playing and discussing
Always wished that it would last much longer
But not forgetting that we were growing

A forever friendship someday we said
I suppose the plan slipped out of her head
Then we went apart on our own pathway
I’m still hopping to meet again someday
