One wish

If I had one wish , you know what it would be
to spend my life with you for an eternity
and hold you tight so close to me
the way life was meant to be
love you forever, with all my heart
because I know , we'd never be apart
share the moments forever more
cause you are the one that I truly adore
you make me so happy I'm proud to say
I'll love you always , with you I'll stay
so take my heart and hold it tight
and I'll fade off to sleep , with a kiss goodnight..©2007 Tracydr42

    This is so beautiful and filled with greatly described feelings. Every line holds so much emotions.
    Truly beautiful and sweet love poem. I like the ending, because the rhythm of the poem slows down in last few lines which adds great effect to the whole piece.
