Best Friends, Remember?

by Needer of You   Oct 14, 2007

Tears pouring down as I think of our past
Remembering when you said that our friendship will forever last

Three of us together
Days full of games and laughter

You being the mature girl
You were our precious pearl

We give trouble and you backed us up
Teasing teachers, picking fights, not enough

Wherever you were, we were there
But the reason of broken friendship, just not fair

No boy is good enough, remember?
Our friendship, definitely forever

One year passed, the second year went
Towards us, the end was sent

Together laughing, together crying
None of us thought of what was coming

First form we met, second form still together
But what the hell is third form , end of forever?

More than two years of friendship
But out of our hands it slipped

Dropped right on the hard floor
And then, debris flying through the door

Our friendship, a clear mirror
Destruction came, it wasn't minor

Shattered to a thousand pieces
I picked them up, everyone bleeds

Blood dripping out, not from the skin
Tears pouring down, it's not a sin

The fragile glass we used to treasure
You let it go without a measure

Walking away, no turning back
This friendship, forever you will lack

Marelli and I counted the scars
Enough to build a stairway to Mars

Marelli and I, bleeding because of you
It's all gone, the friendship that was never true
