A wakening promise

Feelings long ago forsaken,
have now begun to waken.
A blazing fire in my heart,
I cannot even begin to thwart.

Standing before me an angel,
her piercing gaze so cordial.
A vision of tranquil desire,
so peaceful as to inspire.

Her pure smile began to shine,
held a heavenly glow Divine.
Has started to patch the hole,
that had grown so in my soul.

Do I dare accept this love,
for this angel from above.
Dare I to the chance of pain,
or is life alone my bane.

But thoughts of her I am cursed,
for to my heart she has traversed.
with this new love I am cautious,
but love her till the end I promise.

    I can really relate to this poem. I think the emotion is hidden but after each stanza it opens up and thats what makes this poem unique. Well penned and Well Done!!!!!
