Drown

by Toni   May 6, 2004

Water flows through my burnt hands
As I sit here and think
Will I ever reach safe land
Or slowly start to sink

This cool water soothes the pain
Numbing me until
Icy streams flood my veins
And so begin to kill

Chilling blades crawl up your spine
To suffocate within
Life and death intertwine
So drowning can begin

This water now is deceptive
Your enemy and friend
Draining your life through a seive
Whilst the pain, it does mend

Rivers fill my broken heart
A glacier in my lungs
Now upon my soul it starts
Until it is done

My eyes see a blurry torent
I gasp my last breath
As underwater now I'm sent
To wait for my death
