Still statue

by lil ashie   Oct 16, 2007

It is midnight it is very dark
and still the girl stands stiff in the park
her heart still beats so fast
waiting for that day to never last
as moonlight wind howls
stars get coved by the cold black clouds
ill be waiting she says before the day ends
her love for him will always bend
she never gives hope after the risk he took
she turns her head as if to look
theres still no sign of the man he fought war
her broken black heart still been torn
she holds her hands together and looks at the sky
how she wishes to be them birds that fly
a tear runs down her cold frozen face
she leaves a rose just Incase
she takes a step back and walks away
and she still waits to this day
