Tomorrow.

by ThisFeelingOfIntoxicationIsSpectacular   Oct 16, 2007

Sitting on the front steps

Watching the sunset

Feeling his hopes fade

In time with the sun

Something shatters

And without have to turn and look

He knows they're fighting again

Hearing his name

He gets up and runs

With no destination in mind

And disappears in the cold

He is the center of all argument

The cause of all problems

And the reason his father leaves

For days at a time

Emerging from his thoughts

He sits under a streetlight

And waits for a miracle to happen

Knowing it's in vain

And in the dark he cries

For a better tomorrow

If tomorrow ever comes

--

For Adam. I love you more then ever, kidd. Head up. I promise you aren't alone. -xx-

Great visual expression of an unfortunate yet all too common problem. Visualize and express a solution with the same eloquence and impact that they will understand.
