A[s] OpP[o]Se[d] +O L[o]Ve

Powerless to stop the tears
the heart aching pain inside
the longing quenching her very heart
the boy she could not find

and now she goes throughout her day
smile painted on her face
and yet the tears streak down her cheek
as the sadness cannot be replaced

so anxious in her act to love
pushed aside her protecting walls
with out thinking of the out come
she insisted on giving her all

and empty she lays forgotten
alone, she seeks the light
prays the pain will soon ease
as this day turns in to night

and still she wonders bout this one
who truly took her heart
hoping that he finds her soon
as this love cannot depart
