DEATH: Her savior

Hold on
For one more day
is what she used to
say
She tried
to make it through
but in the end
knew it wouldn't do
She plastered
a smile on
desparetly
trying to be strong
She trudged through
each day
trying to make it
better
Every day
the emptiness came
swallowing her up
until her heart shattered
Now she's dead inside
Nothing to hide
because pain
is written all over
her face
Her fall from grace
was too much to take
because she lost
the fight
She took the knife
And let herself slice
until her blood stained
the floor
In the morning she was gone
knowing healing would'ce taken to long
And she'd never be the same
Life ws to hard the pain too great
Death was her only savior
