The love of a horse
Will continue for years
My horse gave me
A life goal, a hobby, a career.

Your hazel eyes
Looking deep within me
Sometimes I actually wondered
If you could hear me.

I can still feel your blonde mare rest upon my arm
As I would sit hours, watching you gallop around the farm.

The years went past
And the older you grew
When you got put down
I used a full box of tissues.
