Sirens

by BeautifulGirl   Oct 22, 2007

The blue, red, and white
Large amounts of swirling light.
She's hiding by a tree
Looking out at me.

I look calm but inside I'm frantic.
I know if I'm scared, she'd be in panic.
She watched as the police come near.
I watched her face go pale with fear.

I'd act the same way after a serious crime.
Arson will get someone some serious time.
I need to distract the people at the scene.
After I did I looked at the place where she'd been.

I looked around for someone to blame.
Trying to find a face I know I can frame.
I know I have got to pull her out.
They've got her as hunch, no doubt.

For she has been a pyro since ten years old
She's never tried to stop, or try to take hold.
She's been in trouble before, 12 times or more.
But she's never burned a house down before.

She's not looking for trouble.
Or one to burst her bubble.
She just likes to hear a siren.
Trying to get the feel of flyin

She does things I'd never do.
And now she's got me too.
I went with her, now they're searching for two.
Now that I got the feel of it, I love the sirens too.
