No One

by Marissa   Oct 22, 2007

No one knew who she was.
No one really cared.
She would wander the halls, her eyes on the floor.
She didn't speak, she really didn't want to

No one really cared
People would run by, and not a single person would see her
She didn't speak, she really didn't want to
She was alone

People would run by, and not a single person would see her
Was she a ghost? Transparent to everyone?
She was alone
Maybe forever she would be

Was she a ghost? Transparent to everyone?
Did she not have any substance like everyone else?
Maybe forever she would be
A thing from the past and not in the present

Did she not have any substance like everyone else?
She would wander the halls, her eyes on the floor
A thing from the past and not in the present
No one knew who she was
