I try.
I try to see the light
Faded by the night.
I try, but I see
Nothing but blackness.

I try.
I try to see the good
In a world full of bad.
I try, but I see
Nothing but blackness.

I try.
I try to see how we'll turn out
As this world is destroying itself.
I try, but I see
Nothing but blackness.

I try.
I try to see the surface
As I sink to the bottom.
I try, but I see
Nothing but blackness.

    Interesting write, I liked the repetition, however I would've liked to see more orignality in this piece, it was so repetitive it was almost like I was reading the first stanza over and over again...sorry just what I thought.

    Overall nice thoughts that could've been delivered a little better in my opinion.
