You, Irony

by abcede   Oct 23, 2007

Catch the aspect of her eyes
a truth or is it lie?
Is it truly acid?
Neutral?
Base?
in the reality of her cries?
"Follow me, I'm better than you!"
Or is it rightfully so?
A question that's worth answering
yet nobody seems to know.
You paradoxical irony
of beauty, grace - yet force?
Are you satisfied within yourself
or full of true remorse?
You're confusion, yet a sight to see
Are you an idol?
or just a jest?
Our brains just reel in wonderment
questions that never rest.
Our focal point is you alone,
you pedestaled, material queen
or maybe you're moral
and I in a bluff
from realizations unseen.
