When It's All Said And Done

by Falling Again   Oct 23, 2007

Under the harsh florescent lights,
she stares tiredly at nothing.

Walking through the crowded hall,
she sees him. Her expression grows more exhausted,
her stomach tightens, making her sick.

Descending the stairs, he disappears,
never knowing her eyes watch him painfully.

She scowls, telling herself its all his fault,
he said to go away. This is what he's telling everyone he wants.

Descending the stairs,
a single angry tear falls to the ground,
under those harsh florescent lights.
