One of them

Pain and sorrow shall feed me now
upon this midnight hour
blessed with power of hate
it shall truly control my fate

wondering through bleakness alone
screaming my madness and doubt
smothered in lies
suffocated in my demise

hidden are fears
lost is my love
secured behind a glass mask
cold is this dawning task

I can hear them calling
I can here them mocking
soothing me to come
lulling me to become

slowly my defenses are broken
slowly I concede
I feel them coming closer
I'm now at their disposer

they whisper half truths and lies
begging me to come
they wont go with out a fight
I give in to their delight

I'm listening now to their sinful words
what once was surreal has now become reality
I'm pulling the iron clasp
my souls finally in their grasp

the metallic smell fills the air
as their greedy claws take hold
my tortured soul for their taking
my death was their braking

i slowly open my dull eyes
to find I've become one of them
my soul for ever tossed
my hunger never lost

dammed for all eternity
never feeling
and lost of breath
all caused by my sinful death
