My friends

by Oracle   Oct 24, 2007

Another ending to a special day.

I smirk now,
receiving a strange look from you as always.

I lean in and whisper,
"Tomorrow night?"

I see you nod your head,
and i smile joyfully.

Looks like another sleepless night is ensured,
but replaced by laughter and incoherent words.

Tomorrow night,
our get-together with all our dear friends once again!

Be careful, Oracle; one might take the verse --

    <I lean in and whisper,
    "Tomorrow night?">

    The wrong way. ;)
All in all, I loved it.

It is a very simple and meaningful poem and I believe that is to be credited. :) 5/5
