Reaching Out

The world is spinning
Spinning before my eyes
And all I do is keep grinning.

I stand up top a hill
Watching the entire world go by
Taking in the sky like a giant pill.

The people walking around me seem to slow down
Or is it I that is slowing up
Slowing up as the world keeps spinning around.

Spin, spin, spinning
'Round, 'round, 'round
Down, down, down grinning.

Silence
Peace in my mind far away yet very near
Cloaked in the worlds appearance.

The sky goes on and on
With all the colors of my mind
Stretching over the universe 'till it's gone.

The world is spinning
Spinning before my eyes
And all I do is keep grinning.

I reach out and touch the impossible
The things everyone refuses to be true
I reach out and believe the unbelievable.

    Wow. I really like this poem. I could just imagine myself spinning around as I read watching the whole world. I'm not sure what it is about it. But I really like it.

    What a wonderful poem yet also deep- that a poem. This time you wrote another great poem but I'm crazy with your rythm. Its flow so great when one reading- this are the kind of a poem that can be readily aloud while number of audience are listening. keep it up-ur on track
