These Tempations

by xxSuicidalxx   Oct 25, 2007

Try to ignore it
try not to pick it up
try to resist my urge
to shed my blood
Glistening blade
sitting on my desk
my mind whisperers to me
that it knows best
I carefully hold it
place it against my skin
ready to feel
the enlightening sensation
dig it deep
and bring it across
little will i know
too much blood will be lost
I slit open the veins
deep in my wrist
a mistake that was made
now of scars i consist
i cut and cut
i cannot stop
its like a drug
taking me over, making me numb
All my pains
wash away
as my blood
flows
I breathe in deep
I've cut to much
these temptations
i can never trust

A very dark and sad piece you have here. I liked the pace of it and the short lines were powerful..well done.
