Lost it

Woke up one morning
noticed life wasn't right
i knew i wouldn't
last another cold night

she curled in a ball
just scooting away
i could only hope
i wouldn't see the next day

nothing i can do to help
we just kept falling apart
i knew it was a wrong choice
