Why do you have to be gone?
why did you leave my side?
once I had love now I have hate
I am full of sorrow and tears
that only you can take away

your smile once the light of my life
your voice once calmed me
now I'm left in the dark
about to lose it... I must stay calm

no matter how bad my heart aches
I must go on as each waking day comes
for as night falls I must be strong

it kills me that you love another
but as the sun rises and as the sun falls
I push myself to go on
