Telling A Story

by Leneigh   Oct 25, 2007

If these walls could talk
they would tell a hell of a story
a story of hate, love, lust and money
sex, drugs, and no control
they would recite a routine
of endless pain
they would show you the truth
through each and every frame
they would lead you down a path
of lies, deception, and struggles
between believing in yourself
and having faith in others
they would turn blue with sadness
and red with anger
throughout the trials they know no stranger
they are the truth
among us all
so when you sit and wonder
just stare at the walls

I lived within those walls for so long,
shackled down with anger, pain, and heartache,
now the walls seem to shed some light,
I see the sun, but its not all that bright
