You Hold Immunity

by Dacey Flame   Oct 26, 2007

An explosion of emotion
Surrounded in facade
Emaciated goals
Launched up and running
Helix toward the ground
Frugal attempts at standing
Bludgeoned back, scraped
Inferior to those
Inoculate their motives
Mawkish, cling to memories
Giving penance, apologize
Asperific treatment
Julienned dreams
You hold immunity
I peel away to diffidence
