Temptation is in sight.

In a shaded world
temptation kills
love is shattered in an instant
and hearts fall as glass

tears fly and hit the surface
mistakes are made everyday
but there is one that stands above
for two hearts now nearly torn

i remain worn
and confused
for he has no idea

and my past
who i always hoped was my future
he sits waiting
trying to give me time

the night clouds around
and temptation is in sight.
