A million faces

by Jordan   Oct 27, 2007

Softly going two by two,
one is me and one is you.
softly swaying in the wind,
i see you disappear again and again.
a million faces all around,
everyone seems to be looking at the ground.
a few looks up and a few looks down,
some even look all around.
what's going on?
what's happening here?
i listen in,
if only more i could hear.
standing in a circle,
all i see is you,
nothing could break me,
nothing but you.
you walk away i grab your hand
I say oh, please don't do this again.
you resist you pull away,
you walked away from my heart that day.
you're back now,
I have no clue what to do,
just remembering the thought of me and you.
What do you do when everything is wrong?
What do you do when you knew it'd go this way all along?
What do you do when your heart is breaking?
What do you do when you're nothing but aching?
a million faces all around...
no one seems to really count.
No approves of me and you,
Sometimes not even you.
