Friendship over Romance

by CoUrTnEy   Oct 28, 2007

A boy I can get over, but a friend I could never lose,
So when it comes to you and her, of course its her I choose.

I cant believe I stuttered, when she asked me who would stay,
For the decision was a simple one, it's you I'd send away.

I loved you more than you could know, and you played me for a year,
So my "Romeo" needs to go back home, It's her that I want here.

The contrast between my jackal and hide, wrote this dear john letter,
You punctured through my fragile heart, and my best friend made it better.

So read between the lines, dear boy, and be prepared for the pain,
My friend mean more than a stupid crush, and you wasted gas in vane.
