Dear troubled lover

by SweetDreamz   Oct 30, 2007

How long must you keep me
A prisoner to myself?
I'll squirm before eyes so opaque
So my fingers quake
Your warmth can make me shake.
Sweetest enigma I will take,
Whats in that dream of yours?
That haunting dream, that taunting, longed for lucid dream.

Cotton locks about your head
And a midnight war raging within.
Tender lips to speak no secrets.
Troubled lover, hurt another
with this fantastic terror or your heart
O pelting hail from you eyes
To bruise soft skin of dirt
O how it hurts. O how I hurt!

Harm another, trouble lover
May I kiss it better?
Lend me your heart
Then all the ground beneath us now
Has fallen away, will fall apart.

Your pages burn with relentless flame
The script I can no longer read
And you burn so brightly
And let the fire feed

O troubled lover
Come with me to winter
Melt with me
Wont gentle breath of wind come unto us?
All we need to curve these lips dear
Bear those fangs and bite once more
Teeth mark scars I implore
We will make blissful snowmen
With singed finger tips If you'd only come with me to Winter dear.

Grand young trees will sprout
From this pearly ice
As winter bloom,
Every petal and every drop of dew,
Could be ours;
Every flora that ever grew
And every butterfly that ever flew

I need you far too much
But clocks shall melt before you see
How I crave your touch
And to take you with me.
To textured fantasy,
To lift my soul of lead,
To kiss with snowflake lips,
To embrace with fiery passion
And those burnt finger tips.

Alas this still a dream
As loneliness still does scream,
Scream for you to be,
Be a dream with me
Sleep upon my chest
And rest peacefully
But tonights troubled lovers,
Weep separately...
