Beautiful frown

by SweetDreamz   Jan 3, 2008

Dig up a skeleton to find Long Ago
A distant memory that is lost in fog and snow
And wind that now cuts sharp kisses through your spine
Remember my angel?
Remember you were mine.

Wings now broken and tragedy remains
Frayed feathers glisten with crimson stains
It's cold outside, with the wolves at you heel,
Raindrops are too salty and smiles are not real.

You are beautiful, such a beautiful dream
But welcome to my nightmare
Is such beauty in your screams?
Such beautiful tears that well up in your eyes
Such a beautiful voice that echoes through your cries

Hold your breath in those tears
Can you swim in your fears?
O I will hold your hand
But only to help you drown
O dear angel, you have such a beautiful frown.

I like how it rymes and that it sounds dark.
