The truth beind your lies

When you ask me how I feel
I know I shouldn't lie
But telling you the truth
Would be the most unbearable compromise

Letting my walls down and letting you in
Just doesn't seem like an option again
Getting hurt the first time was something I could live through
Getting hurt a second time isn't something I can do

You tell me I'm the one
Feeding me all your lies
But secretly I know
Their always on your mind

    I like this :). it's depressing but it speaks for a large majority of the people on this website. we've all been hurt and don't wanna get hurt again.

    I understand what you're going through, the whole "been there, done that" thing. it's like because of how he hurt you you can't let anyone in because you're afraid he'll do it again. but you want so much to trust him again.
